each starstrike features

  • 860 NM IR Illuminator: Equipped with a rugged, high-output 860 nm MIL-SPEC infrared illuminator, the StarStrike NV ensures superior target visibility in total darkness without compromising stealth. The 860 nm wavelength blends into the tactical environment, staying largely invisible to the naked eye while providing crystal-clear imaging for the digital sensor.

  • Swappable 18650 battery: Unlike proprietary power packs, the StarStrike NV accepts readily available 18650 cells, so replacements are easy to source in the field. For cold-weather operation, we recommend using Nitecore cold-weather 18650 batteries for extended life.

  • 120-Minute Battery Life with USB-C Quick Charging: Our Night Vision Scope boasts 120 minutes of runtime on medium settings from a single charge. Plus, with the inclusion of a USB-C port, you can benefit from rapid charging times, getting you back into action swiftly. The USB-C port can also provide continuous power if plugged into a power source.

  • On-board recording: Our Gen I and II captures 1080p video and photos to microSD and ships with a 32 GB card and supports larger cards.

  • Four Selectable Digital Reticles for Every Mission: Adapt instantly to any shooting scenario with four built-in reticle styles, including precision crosshairs and rapid-acquisition patterns for both close- and long-range targets.

  • VisionGuard Eternal Warranty: All Starstrikes and Triton products are back by our hassle-free lifetime warranty. Rest assured, any manufacturer defect is covered, ensuring a lifetime of reliable performance and unwavering confidence in your night vision gear.

Every StarStrike NV scope undergoes a rigorous multi-stage inspection to ensure reliability in the field. Each production batch is assigned a batch control number rather than individual serials, allowing traceability while keeping production lean. After assembly, units are visually inspected, powered on, and verified for sensor performance, reticle alignment, IR illumination, and recording functionality.

A sample from every batch is then mounted on a recoil-simulation rig that reproduces the violent impulse of a .50 BMG rifle. This machine subjects the optic to repeated recoil cycles to verify that optical zero, electronic integrity, and housing durability remain unaffected. If the tested unit passes all post-test inspections — including reticle alignment, focus retention, and imaging stability — the entire batch is approved for shipment.

This ensures that every StarStrike NV leaving the factory has been validated to withstand extreme recoil forces and meet the same optical and electronic standards demanded by tactical users worldwide.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • It depends on the magnification selected, but with the 860 nm IR illuminator, you can see up to 200 yards using a 5-20x scope.

  • Yes, the StarStrike NV is a true digital optic, so it’s safe for both day and night use. Just switch off the IR illuminator during daytime shooting and you are good to go.

  • It runs on a single 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, offering up to 120 minutes continuous runtime on a medium IR setting. You can also power it via USB-C for extended sessions without swapping batteries.

Later models will feature two 18650 for extended use.

  • Each production batch is recoil-tested on a machine simulating .50 caliber recoil, ensuring the optic holds zero and maintains full functionality under extreme stress. It’s built to withstand repeated impacts far beyond typical hunting or duty use.

  • There are four selectable digital reticles, each adjustable in brightness for different conditions. You can switch between precision crosshairs and rapid-acquisition designs with a single button. For more details, please visit the product pages.

  • The Gen II and Switch features a default reticle when recording, the reticle is visible in the video feed. This allows you to review your shot placement and point of aim after recording.

The only model to not feature this would be the StarStrikeX LPVO series.
